20 random questions

Hello! I thought it’d be fun to answer some random questions in a post, so here I am! I got most of these questions from Google, so they’re definitely random.

• Do you take the shampoos and conditioners from hotels?

Not usually. The type of shampoo and conditioner that hotels have are never any good on my hair, so there’s no point in taking them.

• Do you like to use sticky notes?

Yes! I could never keep track of anything without them.

• Do you always smile for pictures?

Yes! Unless for some reason it’s not a face-forward picture. Or, ya know, I’m wearing a face mask. *eye roll*

• What is your biggest pet peeve?

Oo, I have a lot. ha Probably though when something isn’t done the right way. It’s so frustrating!

• Do you ever dance even when there is no music playing?

…who doesn’t? haha

• Do you chew your pens and pencils?

No! It’s bad for your teeth, and it also ruins your pens and pencils. I have to be pretty stressed for this to ever happen.

• What is your song of the week?

I think my song of the week is always So Much More Than This by Grace VanderWaal! It’s so happy, and has a good message too.

• Is it okay for guys to wear pink?

This is controversial. haha As a general rule, it’s definitely not masculine to wear pink or purple. But I don’t think it’s terrible if done with the right attitude and in inexcessive ways. If I ever have any, I probably won’t put my sons in pink or purple.

• What do you dip a chicken nugget in?

Ketchup, Chickfila sauce, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, etc.–basically whatever’s on hand.

• When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone, on paper?

Today! I really enjoy writing letters.

• Can you swim well?

I can swim to save my life, and I can use a diving board. But I’m not skilled or anything.

• Are you stubborn?

Absolutely. If I believe in something, I do so fiercely. I’ve also never been effected by dares or felt pressure to be a push-over. That’s just not me. (I definitely think stubbornness against authority is wrong!)

• Have you ever used a gun?

I have! I’ve never shot anything but targets though.

• Do you love or hate rollercoasters?

LOVE! We haven’t been to a theme park this year because of covid, and it’s super sad.

• Do you like hair accessories?

Yes, I do! Hair scarves and clips can really dress up a simple hairstyle.

• What’s your favorite coffee cup?

We have a collection of the You Are Here mugs from Starbucks, and I always drink my coffee from one of those! I like the Disneyland ones the best.

• What was the last thing you read in your Bible?

Isaiah 12 was the last thing on my reading list today.

• What color do you wear most often?

Unintentionally, black. ha I think it stems from being such a minimalist! Black is just so easy and comfortable.

• Would you rather travel in an airplane or a car?

This is a hard one to answer! I really love the experience of flying: the airports, the take-off and landings, airplane snacks, window seats, etc. But nothing beats a good road trip, either! If it’s under 10 hours, mostly farmland, no traffic, there’s good music/podcast/audiobooks/Odyssey, and I have snacks and coffee?? Then I’ll pick roadtrip.

• What’s your favorite personality test?

Even though it’s technically not a personality test, I’m for sure going with the Enneagram! It’s more of a what-are-your-motivations test, not really focusing on outward actions a whole lot. Honestly though, most people struggle with typing themselves because they’re in denial of their flaws. You’ll feel really exposed when you finally accept your type. ha No, the test itself isn’t always accurate–but you are one of them! promise. (If you have any questions, I’d love to answer!)
