the conferences || 2021

This summer was oh so much better than 2020’s! For many reasons, but mostly because we had Heritage and ADMIT this year! I was incredibly excited for the chance to back at our normal summer events. They’re always the highlight of my year, and I always, always have an amazing time.

Heritage 2021 did not disappoint!! The messages and altar calls were incredible, as they are every year. So many lives were changed, so many hearts deeply touched. There was something for everyone in every message, and I know I’ll never forget those services.

The fellowship was a very close second to the services! I had a blasttt. Me and one of my closest friends, Valena, got to meet (long story)! We instantly felt so comfortable and natural together, it was really neat. Although, we do have different friend groups. So we didn’t end up hanging out a lot. But I enjoyed every moment together!Sarah, Lydia, and Allana, I’m so glad we got to see y’all!! Wish we could have spent more time together! Another of my sister and I’s close friends was there, and we had such a great time together! Memories were made for sure! In addition, I met sooo many new people and got reacquainted with some old friends. Including some readers! It makes my day when I meet one of you; definitely come and say hi if you see me!

Actually getting to Heritage was…an adventure. Haha We arrived so exhausted that I had no idea how we were going to function the rest of the week. The airport we used is two hours from where we live, and our flight left about 5 am. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep that Sunday night. When we arrived in Denver on Monday morning, we had been awake over 24 hours. What a fabulous way to start Heritage! Haha
