heritage 2019 || part 1 + heritage 2019 || part 3

We typically get into Colorado Springs around supper time on Monday night. It’s super nice to be able to get settled in before the majority of the crowd gets there!

Then we shop on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I made the mistake of wearing new shoes to the shopping center on Wednesday and scored myself 4 blisters per foot. It was just fabulous. haha It definitely made for a fun week church-shoe wise!ππ

Mr. Luke! haha Here he is sleeping is such an odd position.π― He just randomly flopped over like this and continued sleeping.π

And Miss Bria!! Love this girl to PIECES. hahaha Her face kills me.
Just previous to this picture, she was snapping hundreds of pictures of our group, mainly of a specific young man (Hi, Josiah!). When I questioned if she had a crush, she confusedly answered, “No…but I have a mushroom!” haha Whatever that means.π
The great thing is, I got a TON of fantastic pictures from her photoshoot.ππ»π Again, mainly some hysterical pictures of the many faces of Josiah. Oh! and a few pretty awesome ones of Kesler.π
I don’t have any pictures of it, but a few of us young people ended up staying in the sanctuary deep in a conversation that lasted for hours. It was such a refreshing, awesome conversation! The main topic was God and the many ways He has moved in our lives and in the lives of others. We even had the hotel workers subtly stopping just to listen to us animatedly talk of all the things God has done for us. And we sure had some good stories to tell!
The group of us standing there started out a bit random, but we each left with a connection to every person that was there. It’s something none of us will forget! Isn’t it so cool how God can orchestrate friendships like that?
It’s one of the things I love most about Heritage. β€

You look so pretty in the first picture! π
