Just recently, we spent a weekend in Tulsa for the fun of it. I had an absolute blast being with everyone again, and we had the craziest and best slumber party at Ashlynn’s house! (Thanks, Ashlynn!๐) I have said this before, but I’ll say it again, I love these people like crazy! Y’all are the best, and I won’t ever get tired of hanging out as a youth group.โค๏ธ
Random things I learned at the mall: 1) It is apparently very important to smell and like Forever Red lotion, 2) Altar’d State’s fall/winter collection is gorgeous, but even the sale section is way more than I would spend (depressing, I know) 3) The random guy who was “just looking at us” is NOT normal even though he looks it. 4) I still am not mentally able to shop with anyone but myself. 5) Disney stuffed animals are way cheaper if bought outside of Disney Parks. 6) Kelsi and I have an “abusive” friendship, but we’re both okay with that. 7) It is impossible to get an escalator selfie with everyone looking. 8) I really just love Christmas time.๐๐ย You may not understand all of these, but that’s okay.๐
Then there was the sleepover. I am pretty sure we unanimously agreed that it was the best sleepover we had been to! I had so. much. fun. with the girls there! We were insane, and it was great.๐ย We stayed up until almost 5 in the morning talking and laughing until we nodded off to Odyssey. I love Odyssey, but more importantly, I love these girls! We will definitely have to do it again sometime. Oh, and we found that if you blow your eyes, Christmas trees look so much prettier.๐๐ย #notnaminganynames
The next day, our family came and picked us up and we drove to Pawhuska to visit Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile. Ree Drummond did a wonderful job decorating her restaurant! Her decor was beautiful, and there was so much to see. Everywhere you looked, she had decorated her store to perfection. Also, the food was delicious- definitely everything people say it is! My sandwich was called Ladd’s Favorite Chicken Sandwich. It had two grilled chicken breasts, thick-sliced bacon, honey mustard, and cheese on a toasted, buttery bun served with steak fries. Being a meat-lover, I loved it! We are most definitely planning on going back, so I anticipate trying other things on the menu.
All-in-all we had an awesome visit to Tulsa. I can’t wait to go back!๐
That sounds like so much fun!! ๐(Can’t wait to see y’all on Sunday!!!)
